Accounting firms in Phuket: what they charge, and where you file
Two Phuket firms publish a full rate card with transaction caps, and at the same cap of thirty transactions a month one charges 3,000 baht and the other 5,000. Phuket is unusual in that the cheaper of the two also publishes in English, so the usual language gap does not apply here.
Phuket is a villa, hospitality and dive shop economy, and the accounting questions follow from that: seasonal revenue, hotel and alcohol licensing, and a lot of foreign ownership.

The cleanest like for like comparison on this site
Two firms with a genuine Phuket presence publish a tiered monthly rate card with hard transaction caps. At thirty transactions a month one charges 3,000 baht and the other 5,000 baht. Same island, same volume, same statutory filings, and you can check both in a minute because both printed the cap next to the price.
That is the whole argument for reading the cap rather than the number. Most of the time a comparison like this is impossible because one firm publishes a cap and the other publishes nothing. Here you can actually do it.
Phuket breaks the usual language pattern
Everywhere else in Thailand the Thai language firm is the cheaper one. In Phuket the firm running parallel Thai and English sites is cheaper than the English only one at every tier we could compare. Foreign ownership is so normal here that serving foreigners is not a premium service, it is the market.
What the local business mix changes
A villa rental company, a dive school and a beach restaurant have different problems from a Bangkok consulting firm, and it shows in the quotes. Seasonal revenue makes a flat monthly bookkeeping fee a poor fit for a business that files almost nothing in low season. Foreign ownership of property and of the operating company raises the Foreign Business Act question that a domestic Thai company never has to think about. And hotel, alcohol and marine licensing sit outside every standard accounting package we saw.

Needs a visit: VAT registration and the ภ.พ.20 certificate, audits, refunds, changes to registered particulars.
What we could not verify
These offices exist and matter, and we have left them off rather than fill them in from a map or a directory. An address on a page like this is only worth publishing if it came from the agency’s own site.
- Phuket Immigration, the office that handles visa extensions and 90 day reporting. Its official site serves a TLS certificate that does not match its own hostname, and the Immigration Bureau site refused every request we made, so we could not read the address from a source we trust. It exists and it is easy to find locally. We would rather leave it blank than copy an address off a map and present it as verified.
- Phuket Provincial Employment Office address, where work permits are issued. The Department of Employment provincial pages would not load. The phone number is published by the Ministry of Labour, but a phone number without a building is not much use, so we left the card out.
