What does an LTR visa cost in Thailand?
The government fee for the ten year Long-Term Resident visa is 50,000 baht per person, fixed and published by the BOI. Agent fees on top of that are rarely published: the two we found run from 22,000 to 100,000 baht per applicant, which is a wide band for what is, on paper, a document-driven application.

Government fee, LTR visa
50,000 per person
Ten years, issued as five plus five. Paid when the visa is collected in Thailand.
Agent service fee
22,000 to 100,000 per applicant
Only two firms publish one. The rest quote after a call.
Digital work permit, if you work
3,000 per year
For Highly-Skilled and Work-from-Thailand holders who need to work for a Thai entity.
The fee that is fixed, and the one that is not
Two numbers make up the cost. The government fee is 50,000 baht per person for the full ten years, the same for the main applicant and for each dependant, and it is the one figure every agent agrees on because the BOI publishes it. The agent fee is where quotes diverge, and since almost nobody publishes one, a quote of 60,000 baht and a quote of 150,000 baht can both be presented as normal.
What an agent does for the money
The LTR is decided on documents: proof of income or assets over the past two years, employer documents for the professional categories, health insurance or a deposit, a clean record. The agent checks which of the four categories you actually qualify for, assembles the evidence in the form the BOI unit expects, files online, and handles the follow-up questions. Someone with a straightforward file and patience can do this alone; the agent is paid for knowing what the reviewers reject.
LTR is for a person, BOI promotion is for a company
The two are often sold from the same page because the same BOI runs both, but they solve different problems. If you are a founder who needs the company promoted and then needs visas for the team, that is a BOI application first and work permits second. The LTR is for an individual who qualifies on their own income or assets and wants ten years without annual extensions.
What firms actually publish
Each of these was printed on that firm’s own website. Follow the link and you will find the figure, or tell us and we will correct the page.
| Firm | What the price is for | THB | The condition attached | Sells to |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FS Consulting | LTR visa application service | 22,000 per application | Per application | Foreign facing |
| Belaws Thailand | LTR visa application | from 100,000 per person | Per applicant | Foreign facing |
| Thai Notary Law & Service | Visa and work permit case handling, LTR among others | 15,000 to 150,000 one off | Band across visa types, not LTR specific | Both |
The part that is not the firm
These are charged by a government body and are the same whoever files for you. A quote that folds them in without saying so is not cheaper, it is less clear.

How we got these numbers
We read the public pages of 10 firms that publish something for this category, out of more than two hundred researched. No firm was contacted, no enquiry form was submitted, and nobody posed as a customer, which is the thing our own terms forbid customers to do to providers. Prices were taken only from a firm’s own domain, never from a directory or a comparison site, and never converted between currencies.
Published prices move, and a page can go stale between our reviews. This is a guide to what the market prints, not a quote, and not accounting or legal advice for your company. Found one that has changed? Tell us and we will fix it.
