Quotuno

FAQ

Questions people ask before their first request

If yours is not here, email hello@quotuno.com and a person answers.

Is Quotuno really free for customers?

Yes, and permanently. The firm you choose pays Quotuno a commission on the work you hire them for; a firm that quotes and is not chosen pays nothing. The rate is agreed with each firm and plays no part in which three firms receive your request or in how the quotes are shown: all of them, side by side, in the order they arrived. We do not rank or recommend, so we have no way to steer you.

Who are the providers?

Thai accounting firms, licensed CPAs and audit firms, corporate service providers, law firms and visa specialists. Before a firm joins we check that it is registered, that it has a real office and contact person, that it holds the licence the category requires (a statutory audit can only be signed by a licensed Thai CPA), and that someone there can correspond in the language you asked for.

How do you decide which three firms get my request?

By category, current capacity and rotation. The full rule is published and enforced in code with no manual override. Providers cannot pay for placement or for a better position.

What do providers see about me?

The job: category, your answers to the intake questions, and anything you wrote in the free-text box. Not your name, email address, phone number or company name. Those are shared with one firm only, the one you choose, at the moment you choose it.

How long does it take?

Most comparisons are complete within three working days (weekends do not count, so a Friday request comes back on Wednesday), and quotes often start arriving the same day. If a provider needs something before it can price the job, we send you one short follow-up question rather than let the quote drift.

What if fewer than three firms reply?

We show you what came in and keep chasing the rest. If a provider does not respond in time we may invite another from the same category. You will always be told how many firms were invited and how many replied.

Is the translated quote binding?

No. The provider's own document is. Our structured English version exists so you can compare fairly, and the original is attached beside it. If the two ever disagree, the original wins. Tell us and we will fix the structured version.

Can I ask a question before I choose?

Yes. Reply to any Quotuno email and a person reads it. We put the question to the provider and add the answer to your comparison, so every candidate is answering the same question.

What happens after I choose a provider?

We introduce the two of you by email and step out of the way. The engagement, contract, invoicing and the work itself are between you and the firm. Quotuno is not a party to it.

Can I use Quotuno if my company is not registered yet?

Yes, and it is one of the most common cases. Choose company registration and say you are not registered yet. Providers will quote the setup, and usually the bookkeeping and work permit that follow it.

Do you give accounting, tax, legal or immigration advice?

No. Quotuno is a marketplace. We structure and translate what providers send so you can compare it; we do not tell you which option is right for your situation, and nothing on this site is professional advice.

I am a provider. How do I join?

See the provider page, or email hello@quotuno.com with your firm name, services, languages and how many requests a week you can handle.
