บอจ.2 is the memorandum of association: the founding document stating the company name, the province of its registered office, its objectives, its registered capital and its promoters. Registering it costs 500 baht plus 200 baht stamp duty.
It is registered before, or on the same day as, the incorporation itself, and stays on the company’s file for life: a certified copy of it is what banks and counterparties ask for when they want the company’s founding terms.
