ตม.7 is the application a foreigner already in Thailand uses to ask the Immigration Bureau to extend their current permission to stay. The foreigner files it in person at an immigration office, with documents that support the reason for the longer stay, such as employment with a work permit.

The standard fee is 1,900 baht, and the printed form states that the fee is not refunded if the extension is refused. Staying past the permitted date without an extension is an overstay, which a BOI briefing on immigration rules lists at 500 baht per day up to 20,000 baht, so apply before the current permission ends.
